Introduction
Guides 'n shit
Maps
Each page under the maps section will have a brief explanation to how the map works (because the green and red arrows literally do not fucking help sometimes) and strats for beating the map on CHIMPS and maybe some other hard gamemodes (like half cash) depending on whether or not they’re actually difficult.
Note that under each gamemode subsection, I listed some rounds. That just means on that round, you have to place a tower or upgrade something. In every round that’s not listed, you can just afk (for the most part).
I gave each map a tier list rating, but unlike the tower rating, this one is purely opinion and based on how the map plays and other shit like that. Feel free to flame my DMs telling me how you might think x-factor isn’t a bad map.
Odysseys
These are pretty straightforward, and everything is placed in the same spot as the ending image unless they aren’t. However, in that case, there will be another image for clarification.
I will only post hard odysseys here, since the easy and medium ones aren’t really worth my time, or your time for that matter. The rewards are not cumulative, so playing hard gives you the trophy rewards from easy and medium.
Boss Battles
There will be a general outline on how to do these, but since tower placements and stuff vary by map, you’re gonna have to improvise a bit depending on the map.
AC/DC
This stands for alternating current and direct current. Alternating current is used on a larger scale with greater voltage, where voltage follows a sine curve. Just kidding, it’s actually the daily and advanced challenges.
Since daily challenges are insanely easy, there will be no guide for that. You can figure that shit out yourself, come on. I will post a final picture showing my setup for playing the DC up to round 100 (if it’s possible), but that’s about it. The advanced challenge can become kinda hard depending on the micro, so that one will have a guide.
Contested Territory
Yeah I probably won’t be posting tile strats here as there are like 200 tiles, but I will cover some general tips to help explain the event and how it works.
Collection Event
Currently the easiest way to grind the collection events that happen every so often in the game is to play expert maps on easy mode, since they’re easy (no shit) and fast. There’s more details in the section itself but yeah that’s about it. Just easy mode strats.
Notation
Before I get into how each section works (which should be pretty self-explanatory, but I might as well clear up any confusion now), I’ll quickly cover how tower upgrading and placing is notated.
If a new tower is placed, it will be written “upgrade tower “, as in “place a 020 wizard”. Basically you place the tower and upgrade it as soon as you can to the specified upgrade.
If an existing tower is upgraded, it will be written " tower upgrade”, as in “upgrade the wizard to 020”.
Upgrades that are affordable through a couple rounds will be notated that way. For example, “rounds 69-71 boomer 023 → 024” implies that on round 69, upgrade to 023 boomer, and you will be able to afford and buy 024 sometime on round 71.
If there is more than one of the tower, then the towers get assigned letters. Kind of like a chicken coop.
