Introduction
Vortex is the speedy bitch that disables your towers every time it hits a skull. When hitting a skull, Vortex will bring up a shield for 6s that deflects projectiles, as well as move back along the track. Also, it comes with the slipstream effect, where bloons behind vortex will move at 250% speed until it catches up to it. The issue with slipstream is that there are some 2 path maps where slipstream is bugged, and the bloons on the non-vortex path will just straight up move at 250% speed. Some bloons are also modified before Vortex spawns.

1 or 2 104 ninjas, depending on whether vortex will disable it or not (you don’t want it to get disabled at all, so place a 2nd one if the first one is disabled).
Elite
205 elite defender on strong (boss), 203 ace (bloons). Also get a 220 village and optionally alch buff the ace.

Tier 2
Normal
205 tack + 410 or 510 ice (boss), keep the 203 ace (bloons).
Elite
150 dartling (use ability whenever it comes up) with 401 alch (boss), 203 ace (bloons). Both should still be under a 220 village.
Getting the MAD disabled isn’t the end of the world, but only if it’s 1 or 2 skulls.
