Summary

The monkey sub is a great tower, but it requires a map with water obviously. It’s a great starting tower because of its 3 pierce (2 without MK), and can defend actually really long with a hero or a long map. This makes the sub the best starting tower for stuff like boss where you have to save all your money for farms. Submerge and support 3xx sub is probably the cheapest camo there is, and it’s pretty effective until a yellow bloon comes by. Reactor 4xx sub is where it’s at. The camo detecting semi-race tower that actually sorta works in games. Highly recommend energizer 5xx sub too as long as it’s because you have extra money to spare and you want faster cooldowns. First strike x4x sub is really useful for chimps because it does crazy good BAD damage, and 3 first strikes will just straight up take out a BAD (which makes it a perfect candidate for geraldo’s rejuv potion). AP darts xx4 sub is some really good midgame ceram/MOAB defense, but that’s about it. I mean sub commander xx5 sub army is still an okay strat, but like probably best to go with other things unless sub’s your only option.
